Glamping Decade at Award-Winning Glamping Site

This family-run business, which is based on a working farm just outside Flixton village, near Scarborough, North Yorkshire, will mark a decade of glamping excellence with various events and offers, including an Open Day on Sunday 24thJune (11am to 4pm) which everyone is welcome to attend.

From a small campsite and two Wigwam® Cabins in 2008, the working farm now has an impressive glamping portfolio including 16 Big Chief Wigwam® Cabins, four Running Water Deluxe Wigwam ® Cabins, each with own outdoor wood-fired hot tub, four Nomadic Yurts, a selection of Bell Tents, three luxury cottages and a peaceful campsite.

Julia Warters, co-owner of the business, said: “It’s hard to believe we’re now celebrating ten years in business!

“Wigwam® Holidays Humble Bee Farm has gone from strength in the decade we’ve been in business, with lots of changes and improvements taking place during that time.

“As well as developing the glamping side of our business, we have also taken part in the Higher Level Stewardship Scheme, encouraging wildlife to flourish on our farm and guests to enjoy our natural surroundings.  It’s been a privilege to share Humble Bee Farm with families who enjoy our idyllic environment.

“To mark our tenth anniversary, as well as holding our Open Day in June, we are also promoting Ten Buzzing Things about Humble Bee, expanding our nature events calendar, and introducing a special Nature Trail for our guests to enjoy.

“We would like to thank everyone who have supported us over the years and we look forward to seeing everyone on our Open Day in June.’”
