Brand New Luxury Cotswolds Glamping Site proposed for Seven Springs
The luxury glamping site on Cheltenham’s outskirts is set to open each year on race week.
Cheltenham Borough Council have received plans for three tents and two cabins for use as holiday sites. The glamping tents would include a double bed, kitchen, toilet and living area, whilst the cabin would include an additional bunk bed and full bathroom.
Victoria Pettigrew said in the planning application’s design and access statement:
“The proposal involves an agricultural diversification scheme for the erection of small-scale glamping site with associated communal facilities and a stable building for the applicant’s own horses."
“The glamping accommodation comprises of two cabins, three tents, a communal facility building and car parking provision for five vehicles."
“The cabins are proposed to provide year-round short-term holiday accommodation and the tents are proposed to be occupied between March 1(race week) and October 30 annually."
“The tents will be taken down and stored onsite out of season.”
The glamping site will be built, depending on planning permission, in Upper Coberley, near Wistley Heights.
