Cool Camping the platform of choice for farm glamping and pop-up campsites
A record number of businesses have joined the Cool Camping collection this year, the popular bookings website has revealed, with farm diversification projects and new pop-up campsites making up the majority of their latest additions.
It follows a busy year for the well-known brand, who won Best Camping Holiday Company at the British Travel Awards for the second year in a row and released a best-selling guidebook, Almost Wild Camping, focusing on smaller, wilder campsites on remote UK farms.
“Everyone knows there’s been a massive boom in camping and domestic holidays over the last couple of years,” Cool Camping editor James Warner Smith commented. “But there’s also been a real surge in brand new businesses opening, many of whom need initial support to find that quickly growing audience.”
“It’s great that Cool Camping has been recognised as a brand that champions the smaller businesses and the number of website submissions we’ve had from pop-up campsites and small-scale glamping sites has been through the roof this year. We have an experienced team to manage quality control and make sure we advertise the best sites on our platform and this year has been particularly strong for new, independent businesses.”
The way Cool Camping supports small businesses hasn’t gone unnoticed. Along with mentions in The Times and The Telegraph last week, the professional writing team at Cool Camping also collected together their 20 top autumn glamping sites for a weekend feature in The i newspaper.
“We’ve built a good relationship with the national press”, Warner Smith continued, “and we’re able to help them find smaller, lesser-known places to stay in the UK. Winter glamping is a big trend at the moment that’s getting a lot of coverage and we’re already making exciting plans for 2022”.
