Park Holidays acquire Carlton Meres Country Park for £13m
Countrywide Park Homes have sold Suffolk’s Carlton Meres Country Park for £13m, which currently holds 280 lodges and planning in place for an additional 200 lodges.
Countrywide Park Homes' owner and chairman, Anthony Barney, said: "Park Holidays approached us with an offer that has enabled our business to not only secure considerable investment for future developments, it will also boost our current portfolio of 13 parks with plans for new features and improved facilities.”
"We are seeking to invest in a number of UK locations, both now and in the foreseeable future, so we would like to invite any park owners that are interested in selling to get in touch."
Park Holidays have already taken ownership of the site, with bookings already live through their website.
