FROM MILK TO SUPERCARS

Diversified dairy farm becomes one of the world’s most successful Morgan sports car dealerships.

Henry Williams has been nominated for the Rural Entrepreneur of the Year award due to moving his family dealership - Williams Automobiles - to the family’s dairy farm in Horton.

The Morgan specialist decided to move their four generation car dealership out of Bristol’s City Centre to the family’s converted dairy farm in Horton only two years after taking control of the business in 2011.

“We are a proper rural business. Everything we do is based out in the countryside. We wanted to take this opportunity to see how we would do in the awards, and to celebrate our success to date,” said Henry’s father.

“So much dedication goes into every business, from the owner, staff and customers alike. The Rural Business Awards proves to staff that they’re doing well, and highlights the business’ successes to customers. We were shocked to do so well up to this point. Having a huge company like Amazon involved adds even more prestige to the awards and we are very proud to be shortlisted.”

The winners of the Rural Business Awards will be announced in October.
